It's that time again....Highpoint Furniture Market in North Carolina!
Mom and dad are heading out after work Saturday for a long week of walking the showrooms to find the newest and most unique pieces of furniture for Keeping Good Company. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join them (due to this large belly of mine and being the responsible one who will hold down the fort!) So it’s all up to them, and hopefully they won’t disappoint us all.
I’m sending them with my trusty camera so hopefully I’ll be able to post all sort of pictures when they return. If not, you’ll just have to stop by the store to see all the new goodies they found.
Looking for the perfect gift for a friend, or a house warming gift? We've got just the thing for you! Anna just unpacked an order from Ekelund Linens direct from Sweden
Fine table runners, hand towels, and tablecloths that are truely unique in style and in quality
Once a day I take a few minutes to browse a few of my favorite blogs and today when I clicked on "The Blissful" Blog I was intrigued by her latest posting.....And so I must share it.
From The Blissful.....
Think about which three independently owned stores you'd miss most if they were gone...Your contribution is what keeps those businesses around. This idea is at the heart of a new nationwide movement to save independently, locally owned brick and mortar stores. It's called the 3/50 Project. Brick and mortar stores around the country are rallying their loyal fans and customers to help support the local economy, three stores at a time. Click the graphic at left to enlarge the flyer and read about how YOU can help preserve the citizen-driven economy that America was built on! If you like this idea, I encourage you to print the flyer and pass it on to your friends.
Keeping Good Company thanks you for supporting this family owned local establishment.
These bags were recently featured in Better Homes & Garden
That's the Stonesoup bag.....which I happen to love, and have in the store! These bags are great since they can hold so much, and the material makes them extra strong for those extra heavy days!
Here's the bags we currently have in store. And of course we can always special order the exact one you want!
