Black Friday

To most people, Black Friday can be a very dreadful day. A day you may not like to participate in. I am one who would never think of getting up at 3am to stand outside the doors of Target, Best Buy, Sears etc... in hopes of not being stomped into the ground as I rush through the crowds in hopes of being one in 10 that snags that 50" Flat Screen T.V for $700.
But my point is, Black Friday doesn't need to be a dreaded shopping day. And for the first time, we are going to be having a Black Friday Sale at Keeping Good Company!
So join us for our first Black Friday Sale
Nov. 28th from 10am - 12pm ONLY
We promise you won't have to fight the crowds and you can enjoy warm beverages and cookies as you shop.
Not to mention, we promise you'll find great savings you won't want to miss!!!!

Furniture, Furniture, Furniture...

Many people don't realize that Keeping Good Company is a mix of many things. A great store to buy Home Decor, Gifts, Accessories for just that perfect spot, Interior Design Services, and of course Furniture. And on that note, Furniture from Keeping Good Company isn't the same thing your grandmother had down in her basement living room. It's unique, it's special, and it makes a statement! And to give you an idea of what you can find, I've created a page that shows some of the different lines we carry. Now mind you, what you see in the pictures is just the beginning. You may like exactly what you see in the catalog, but just remember there are hundreds of fabrics you can chose from. And yes, I did say HUNDREDS!!! And if you don't find what your looking for, you can always do a COM (customers own material). Not to mention you can almost always change wood colors, leg options, arm options, nail heads, no nail heads, and even turn your stationary chair into a swivel.

So please, take a moment to check out this new page. Bare with me as I add to it. It is still in it's beginning stage but will surely give you an idea of what you can expect from Keeping Good Company. And if you don't live here in Vermont, no need to worry. All Keeping Good Company stores do the same thing, and offer the same customization that you may be searching for.

So here's the link, please let me know what you think. Keep looking back as I add more items and furniture lines. We may have just the piece you've been dreaming about!

We all need a little Holiday Spirit

This past weekend was our first weekend after we decorated for the Holidays, and I can't tell you how many people came up to me and said, "This is what I needed to get me in the Holiday Spirit". Hearing that made closing the store down for those three long, tiresome days totally worth it! It's nice to know that someone can walk into our store and feel that much better. Now I shouldn't gloat, but we do have some very good customers (and I won't name names) who call our store their happy place. When they're feeling down they come to Keeping Good Company to bring their spirits back up and they leave feeling much better. Now, if you ask me, that makes me feel like we must be doing something right.

Welcome Holiday Season

We Re-Opened last night with a very successful Holiday Open House. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and those of you who were unable to make it please stop in this weekend. The Open House will continue through Sunday with refreshments and a chance to win a FREE In-Home Consultation. Amazingly we were able to pull off another transformation of our store into a winter wonderland with some truly outstanding vignettes. I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance to unload the camera. The pictures truly don't do justice to seeing the store in person. So if you haven't been in yet, put us on your list of places to go this weekend and stop in.
